These terms govern your use of thedesignersdirectory.com, operated by The Designers Directory ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

Client work is governed by a separate signed agreement. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, the signed agreement wins.

Using this website

You may view, download and print pages for your own reference. You may not scrape the site, resell its content, attempt to breach its security, introduce malicious code, or use it for anything unlawful.

Our content

All text, design, code, graphics and logos on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions without written permission.

Client work shown on this site remains the property of the respective clients and is displayed with permission.

Your content

Anything you send us through a form, a booking or email remains yours. By sending it you give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it, such as answering your enquiry or preparing a proposal. Do not send us confidential information before an agreement is in place.

Work, quotes and proposals

Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Prices, ranges, timelines and package descriptions are indicative and subject to a written proposal. A project begins when a proposal is signed and any required deposit is received.

Unless a signed agreement says otherwise:

• Scope, fee and timeline are fixed in the proposal. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.
• Timelines assume you supply content, feedback and approvals on schedule. Delays on your side move the delivery date.
• Ownership of final deliverables transfers to you on full payment.
• Third-party costs such as fonts, stock imagery, plugins, hosting and advertising spend are yours and are separate from our fee.

Advertising spend

Where we manage advertising, our fee is for management. The media spend is paid by you directly to the platforms. Platform costs, auction dynamics and account decisions are outside our control.

Results

We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts, conversion rates or revenue. Search engines and advertising platforms change their systems without notice, and outcomes depend on factors including your market, offer, pricing and operations. What we commit to is the work described in your agreement, done competently.

Third-party platforms

Our work often relies on services we do not control, including Google, Meta, WordPress, Shopify, hosting providers and payment processors. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, account suspensions or pricing decisions.

This site links to other websites for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Liability

This website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of this site.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability in connection with this website is limited to one hundred US dollars. Liability relating to client work is governed by the relevant signed agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Colorado.
